Newsroom
Overview
Chef Rome Brown started as a cook in the military—following in his father’s footsteps—to become a personal chef to the stars, including Colin Powell, Shaquille O’Neal, Priscilla Presley, Star Jones, Nancy Kerrigan, Carl Gustaf (King of Sweden), Byron Cage, and Mike Bibby.
His philosophy is that everyone should “eat like a celebrity”, so he showed people how they could do just that through his series of cookbooks focused on elevated Southern cuisine. His recipes are approachable and unique with unexpected elevated twists on flavor, ingredients and presentation.
Today, Chef Rome is a cookbook author, expert, television and media personality, successful executive chef and founder of Chef Rome Enterprises, LLC, with more to come. He has appeared on Food Network and in a number of high profile media.
Rome’s easy going Southern style and experience with media offers hosts, journalists and food writers a special chance to get inside the mind of a chef who is dedicated to innovating and elevating Southern cuisine.
